Project Overview

ECS Group completed extensive terrace alteration and reconfiguration works across the North Stand Upper Tier and Holte End Lower Tier at Villa Park. The package included the removal, modification and construction of hundreds of concrete half-steps and landings to accommodate revised seating and access arrangements.

Key Scope of Works

• Removal of existing concrete half-steps and landings • Construction of replacement concrete steps and landings • Holte End terrace and step reconfiguration • Concrete repairs and localised making good • Alterations to rails and glazed upstands • Construction of seven concrete plinths at the Gas Lamp Café • Controlled concrete breakout and enabling works

The works were delivered within a live and operational stadium, with access, plant movements and construction activities carefully coordinated around the club’s daily operations and event programme.
