Project Overview

ECS Group delivered the groundworks and reinforced concrete frame package for a new development on Hoe Street in Walthamstow. The works included substructure and superstructure concrete, retaining walls, underpinning, drainage and below-ground services.

Project Delivery

The project was delivered on an exceptionally restricted site, with the reinforced concrete frame occupying virtually the entire available footprint. To overcome the limited working and storage space, reinforcement cages were prefabricated at ECS Group’s own facility and delivered to site ready for installation. ECS coordinated and managed the site logistics throughout, maintaining compliance with the Construction Logistics Plan while controlling deliveries, lifting operations, temporary works and safe access.
