The works included extensive alterations to the existing stadium terraces, together with new reinforced concrete foundations, ground beams, raft slabs, drainage and service infrastructure.
Key Scope of Works
• Precision saw-cutting and controlled demolition
• Crane-assisted removal of reinforced concrete sections
• Alterations to terraces, stairs, gangways and vomitories
• Deep reinforced concrete foundations and ground beams
• Reinforced concrete raft and overlay slabs
• Temporary propping and structural support works
• Drainage, ducting and concrete repairs
Project Delivery
The works required careful coordination around restricted access, crane operations, road closures and interfaces with the existing stadium. Selected works were undertaken between fixtures, with the principal structural alterations delivered during the close-season programme.
